Biography

Mutt-Lon is the literary pseudonym of author Nsegbe Daniel Alain. His first novel, Ceux qui sortent dans la nuit (Those Who Come Out at Night, 2013), brought him critical acclaim when it received the prestigious Ahmadou Kourouma Prize in 2014. In 2015, he published in Cameroon his second novel La procession des charognards (Clé Publishing. His third novel Les 700 aveugles de Bafia (2020) was released into two editions in West Africa and in France, and subsequently published in English as The Blunder (translation Amy B. Reid at Amazon Crossing), and in Arabic in Egypt (Sefsafa Publishing). He lives in Douala: Cameroon’s most international and cosmopolitan city.

Mutt-Lon currently works on his fourth novel.
