Suicide Mass (4)

– Novel (Horror Saga, 2025) –

French Version

Summary

Between the sacred and the profane, terror finds its home… Olivia follows the trail of a shining poppy — a path leading deep into the heart of darkness.

Germany, 12th century. All Hallows’ Eve at the Brocken Monastery. Two monks embark on a mission that will bind them to ancient forces buried in swamps and secrets. Centuries later, in the haunted village of Reyes, Martincito holds the key to preserving a power no human should wield. Suicide Mass explores the idea that evil has no genealogy — it does not descend, it manifests. In Forcinito’s universe, terror needs no justification: it rises from faith, guilt, and the fragile line between salvation and damnation. In this fourth installment of the saga, the pagan and the Christian intertwine in a stark, symbolic landscape where every miracle hides a curse. Reyes, a land of miracles and sins, becomes the stage for rituals, resurrections, and the quiet persistence of evil that refuses to die. With lyrical precision, theological dread, and an addictive narrativa, Pablo Forcinito confirms himself as one of the most original voices in contemporary Argentine horror.

Suicide Mass 4 follows La misa de los suicidas 3 (published 2023). The 5th & last volume is expected in 2026.

Biography

Pablo Forcinito, born in Buenos Aires in 1978, began his literary career with poetry, winning the Leopoldo Marechal National Poetry Contest in his teens. After studying Fine Arts, he published horror short stories and debuted with the novels En tu mundo raro y por ti aprendí (2014), Paraná (2015), and La orilla de los encantados (2016). These works were later compiled into Trilogía de Paraná (2019), a collection centered on an Argentine serial killer. In 2022, Forcinito launched La misa de los suicidas, a horror pentalogy, with the final installment expected in 2026. Spanish rights of La Misa 1 were sold to Dolmen Books in Spain. La Misa 1 was released by Dolmen in November 2024 (non-exclusive license).
